TRANSCODE 2025: Paper accepted

Our paper on the suitability of Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) in rural Switzerland has been accepted for the prestigious TRANSCODE 2025 conference.

We are pleased to announce that the paper “Exploring DRT Suitability in Rural Switzerland: A Simulation Approach for Thurgau” by Corrado Muratori, Valerio De Martinis, and Stephan Bütikofer has been accepted for presentation and publication at TRANSCODE 2025.

The study investigates how Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) can be implemented in rural regions – using the Canton of Thurgau as a case study. Through simulation approaches, the research highlights the potential of flexible, digitally managed mobility services to complement existing public transport.

With this acceptance, our work contributes to the international dialogue on advancing sustainable transport systems.
