Summer Schools Abroad
Would you like to take a study semester at a university abroad but for academic, professional, or personal reasons this is simply not an option for you? In this case, a summer school may be an interesting alternative.
Combine Having Fun and Studying During Summer Time
A summer school gives you the opportunity to fill your vacation time with new impressions and at the same time further your studies. In addition, it is also a great way to meet new people from all over the world and to improve your knowledge of English. You can choose from many attractive programs in Asia, Europe, and North America including Corvinus University in Budapest, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, or UC Berkeley in California.
Dates and study credit possibilities
Summer Schools usually last 1 - 6 weeks and take place during the semester break. Full-time Bachelor students can attend a Summer School after their 4th semester, while Bachelor part-time students can attend a Summer School after the 4th or 6th semester and Master's students after their 2nd semester (independent of whether in a 4 or 6-semester model).
The successful attendance of a SML-approved Summer School can be accredited for the Bachelor's degree courses in Business Administration (except International Management), Business Information Technology, and Business Law programs as well as for the Master's program Accounting & Controlling and counts for the dispensation of an optional compulsory module (BSc 3 ECTS, MSc 6 ECTS).
«My three weeks in Shanghai were exceptionally impressive and educational, and I will remember the experience for a long time to come. Both the university and Shanghai itself exceeded all my expectations.»
Antonino Castellana, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China
