Novel axial-torsional testing machine system in the BME
The accredited testing laboratory of the "Biomechanical Engineering" focus area has acquired a new type of testing machine system. The axial-torsional system with drive system based on magnet actuator technology is used for multi-axial tests on implant systems and can also be used for fatigue testing. The new machine type from Zwick-Roell was delivered to an accredited testing laboratory for the first time.
