Interactive congress: Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering (SSBE) at the Institute of Mechanical Systems
On September 5tg 2024, the annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering SSBE took place in Winterthur.
Around 100 participants gathered at the School of Engineering of the ZHAW. The Institute of Mechanical Systems IMES organized the interactive conference, which addressed research topics from the fields of clinical imaging, biomechanics, diagnostics & therapy and medical device testing & development. A total of more than 40 abstracts were submitted.
The event ended in a festive setting with concert accompaniment, which underlined the 150th anniversary of the "Technikum" and 25 years of biomechanics.
