Corporate Responsibility Lab

“Companies and organizations recognize that sustainability is a strategic issue. Drawing on our long-standing experience of applied research, we help realize the potential of corporate responsibility and sustainability by approaching these issues in a coherent and structured way.”

Prof. Dr. Christian Vögtlin, Head of Corporate Responsibility Lab

Competencies

The Corporate Responsibility Lab (CRL) supports companies and organizations in the strategic integration of sustainability and corporate responsibility. We assist in developing sustainability strategies, communicating their positive impact, and driving internal organizational change toward sustainability.

We use the term “corporate responsibility” because it indicates the stewardship role businesses have, reflecting their broader purpose of serving society and being accountable to stakeholders. Assuming responsibility means becoming proactive as a sustainability change leader.

Our focus areas are:

  • Corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy.
  • Sustainability reporting and communication.
  • Organizational change toward sustainability.
  • Responsible leadership and resilience.
  • Corporate political responsibility.

Continuing Education

The CRL expertise flows directly into the CAS Corporate Responsibility: Its participants receive the necessary tools to strategically embed principles of responsible leadership and sustainability management in companies, thereby contributing to business success.

“The program helped me to understand the concept of Corporate Responsibility in theory and practice better. I now feel more confident in steering, arguing, and solving the challenges I face in my day-to-day work.”
