Continuing Education
At the Institute of Public Management, our modular executive education programs are continuously developed further in collaboration with public employers and industry associations. You can put together your own executive education portfolio, deciding on your educational needs, the goals you want to set for yourself, and the pace at which you want to achieve them.
Modern teaching and learning concepts: Our executive education programs combine on-site and online instruction to create the greatest possible benefit for our students. Our face-to-face classes benefit from direct social interaction when working on concrete practical problems. The new central facilities offer ideal conditions for both classroom work and group assignments. In our online classes, the focus is primarily on the transfer of knowledge independent of time and location. We also offer certain modules entirely online.
Better accessibility and lower travel costs: The switch from half-day classes to block days enables students to reduce their travel time and costs. Our new classrooms in a central location in Zurich are easy to reach.
More coaching with practical relevance: Guided individual and group assignments with a high practical relevance improve students’ learning curves and provide immediate benefits for them and their employers. In the same way, performance assessments involve concrete problems from students’ work environments.
Ideal supervision ratio: Even with larger classes, team teaching ensures a perfect supervision ratio of lecturers to students.
Exchange and networking: In the new teaching locations, small meeting areas provide space for valuable interaction among participants during coffee breaks. At the drinks event at the start of the semester, students from all CAS classes can get to know each other and strengthen their personal network.
