Human-AI Teaming in Information Service Innovation (Human-AI-Teaming)
This project develops a hybrid human-AI system for semi-automated data enrichment. By fusing exclusive company data with public sources, it enhances the quality and timeliness of Profondia's service portfolio, creating a sustainable competitive advantage in the B2B information market.
Description
The central goal of this project is to innovate Profondia's service portfolio by developing a sophisticated semi-automated data enrichment process. Profondia's competitive advantage relies on manually curated data, a method facing significant scalability and timeliness challenges in the age of AI.
The current process cannot efficiently harness the vast potential of public data sources, risking the completeness and relevance of its core asset. To address this, the project will create a novel human-AI-system that synergistically combines large-scale, AI-driven data extraction with essential expert human validation. A core technological innovation is a multi-faceted confidence score that reliably automates workflow decisions. This score moves beyond the limitations of standalone AI metrics by integrating three distinct signals: the AI model's intrinsic uncertainty, corroborating evidence from Profondia's internal database, and the pre-assessed reliability of the data source itself. Based on this calibrated score, the system will dynamically select the optimal level of human oversight for each new piece of information.
This intelligent workflow management ensures that valuable human attention is directed only where most needed, optimizing both efficiency and accuracy. This innovative approach will significantly increase the breadth and timeliness of Profondia's market intelligence, enabling the creation of new, high-value data services like real-time business alerts. Ultimately, this project will secure Profondia's long-term market leadership and create a scalable foundation for future growth and innovation.
