SDG Thesis Award

Submit your thesis for the SDG Thesis Award and you may have the chance to present your impact work. 

The SDG Thesis Award (Sustainable Development Goals Thesis Award) is a ZHAW initiative that honours final theses with a public award in cooperation with the Swiss Green Economy Symposium and cash prizes totalling CHF 4’500.

• You are enrolled at the ZHAW or were enrolled last year.
• Your work is a project, Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.
• Your work addresses at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• You submitted your work between June of the previous year and the submission deadline (e.g. for the 6 July 2025 deadline, your work must have been turned in between June 2024 and that deadline.)
