New edition and translation myStudybox

Description

The development of competence grids serves as the basis for a differentiated and competence-oriented assessment system that can contribute to the continuous improvement of degree programs. With a suitable feedback system, program heads, lecturers and students receive central information for focusing and further developing their teaching and learning activities. This feedback system is further subdivided into myTeaching, a platform for lecturers with important documents relating to studies, and myStudybox, an online tool for promoting interdisciplinary skills.

Since 2015, the following sub-areas have been addressed and mapped in myStudybox, derived from the skills grid: Academic work, student learning, communication, project management, interculturality and perspective-taking, creativity and innovation, ethical and social responsibility as well as team cooperation and dealing with conflicts. In the last 10 years, these areas of competence have become increasingly important, as have current developments in the field of digitalization and AI. For these reasons, it is necessary to update and expand the platform. In addition, all content should also be created in English in order to implement the SML's internationalization strategy.

The aim of the platform is to provide modularized learning opportunities, which are then increasingly used in autonomous and supervised self-study. The sub-areas can be used by all SML students, and lecturers can integrate individual elements into their own modules or refer to the content. The provision of new content and translation should significantly increase the number of users.
