Bio-hybrid materials for bioprinting and tumour-targeted therapies (Bio-HhOST in ELM)

Beschreibung

Living cellular structures address real-world challenges in medicine and biotechnology, including bioprinting, organoid development, and tumour-targeted therapies. The EIC-funded Bio-HhOST project will develop bio-hybrid materials that integrate living and artificial cells, enabling them to communicate and influence each other’s growth and function. This initiative aligns with the EIC’s Engineered Living Materials (ELMs) initiative, positioning Bio-HhOST as a key collaborator within the ELMs portfolio.

By participating in governing bodies and working groups, the project will contribute to updating the portfolio’s objectives and expanding into areas such as bioprinting, organoid development, and tumour-targeted therapies. It will also leverage results from the EIC Pathfinder project to navigate commercialisation pathways and advance innovative research.
