Extracting Hidden Information on Building Energy State using Foundation AI Models applied to Remote Sensing Data and Street View Imagery (RE_Inv_AI_Models)

This project advances energy and CO2 ratings for Real Estate Funds by applying AI to fill critical data gaps. Using remote sensing, street-view imagery, and large language models, we estimate buildinglevel energy state information, enabling scalable and comparable assessment of fund portfolios.

For this purpose, we want to employ AI-based methods for the following purposes:

Estimation of U-values for Roof of selected buildings
Estimation of U-values for Walls of selected buildings
Extraction of Self-disclosed Location and Energy State Data from SREFs Reports and Websites
