The Ethos Foundation, representing over 250 Swiss pension funds, and its operational arm Ethos Services, are key actors in sustainable investment through ESG ratings, funds, proxy voting, and shareholder engagement. Controversy assessments are central to their ratings but remain highly manual, time-consuming, and subject to bias, limiting transparency and scalability.
