Peptide drugs have great therapeutic value. In this project, we are synthesizing a library of peptide drugs derived from natural products for the treatment of human diseases. The structural variations will allow us to establish a structure-activity relationship and explore their mechanism of action at the molecular level. This will lead to further optimization of these very potent molecules.
