Description
Manufacturers that rely on natural raw materials regularly confront unpredictable material quality and limited shelf‑life. Because the properties of each batch can differ, operators must constantly adjust recipes by hand, which leads to higher waste, longer lead‑times, inconsistent product quality and increased compliance risk.
The SmartRecipe project seeks to eliminate these manual adjustments by creating a data‑driven platform that continuously monitors raw‑material quality and production parameters. By integrating the plant’s existing ERP, MES and LIMS systems, the project will provide operators with reliable, real‑time guidance on how to optimise recipes, thereby reducing waste, cutting chemical consumption and shortening production cycles.
The ultimate goal is to deliver a scalable solution that improves efficiency and sustainability for Swiss process manufacturers, strengthening their competitiveness in the digital‑transformation era.
