Exhaust Gas Analysis Using Mass Spectrometry for Growth Monitoring in Cell Culture Processes

One way of monitoring growth is to analyse the composition of the exhaust gas. As part of the project, a mass spectrometer will be used to measure the gas composition in the exhaust air and, on this basis, to investigate whether there is a correlation between cell-specific parameters and the exhaust gas values. The mass spectrometer is to be used in various cell culture applications. All work is to be carried out as part of student projects.
