National Quality Development Program in Home Care (NIP-HC)

NIP-HC develops a data-driven quality development programme for home care organisations (Spitex) in Switzerland, aiming to systematically improve care quality and establish national quality monitoring.

Description

The National Quality Development Programme in Home Care (NIP-HC) develops and implements a data-driven quality improvement programme for home care organisations (Spitex) in Switzerland, with the aim of systematically improving care quality and establishing national quality monitoring.

To this end, interRAI-based quality indicators as well as supplementary indicators (e.g. PROMs/PREMs, process quality indicators, and quality indicators for interprofessional collaboration) are evaluated, technical and organisational foundations are established, and the programme is piloted and scaled nationally.
