Behavioral Design Thinking Workshop (BDTW)
Behavioral economics trainings and behavioral design thinking workshops for the behavioral optimization of touchpoints (e.g., mailings, website, app, etc.).
Result
The workshops result in implementable prototypes for touchpoints that encourage a specific behavior among the target group based on concepts from behavioral economics and consumer psychology.
Description
Employees first receive an interactive in-house training on behavioral economics and consumer psychology, where they become familiar with the application of nudging and choice architecture, among other topics, using tools such as the Behavioral Insights Kit.
Subsequently, a full-day Behavioral Design Thinking workshop is conducted with the trained employees. During this workshop, employees work in groups to behaviorally optimize various touchpoints using a combined approach based on methods from behavioral design and design thinking, with the aim of encouraging a specific behavior within the target group.
