This Innovation cheque funded market analysis assesses institutional demand, feasibility, and scalability of Pathways+, a social innovation planned with SINGA Switzerland, to prepare a nationwide, science-based B2G model, embedding refugee entrepreneurship into Swiss integration policy.
Description
The innovation cheque funds a market potential study to assess the demand, scalability, and systemic impact of Pathways+, an innovation planned with SINGA, the national leader in refugee entrepreneurship support. With Pathways+, SINGA aims to expand and scale its services through a new B2G business model based on structured collaboration with cantonal RAVs and communal Social Services.
Pathways+ will be a science-based social innovation addressing refugee underemployment by embedding a digitally supported entrepreneurship pathway into Swiss integration policy. It seeks to reduce welfare dependency and costs, mitigate the social and health effects of long-term underemployment, and unlock untapped entrepreneurial potential.
To assess the market potential of Pathways+, the innovation cheque will fund interviews conducted by researchers at the FHNW School of Business and ZHAW Department of Applied Linguistics. Interviews will target representatives of RAVs and communal Social Services as the main end-users of Pathways+.
