RobotCare – User experience in development of service robots for elderly care
Description
Objectives of the project
- Establish a systematic dialogue between the technology developers and researchers and the elderly/healthcare institution stakeholders (including medical, care, and service personnel, management, patients, and their families) in both regions and develop a suitable international community network.
- Identify synergies between the three Universities for future joint applied R&D (aR&D) initiatives including the service perspective and investigate suitable joint funding possibilities for (a) future international aR&D project(s) and (b) international network development.
- Explore market potential in Japan in particular and Asia in general as well as Switzerland for Swiss spin-off(s) in the domain of service robotics in elderly care.
- Establish student and academic exchange between the two countries.
