Online registration for continuing education
You can register online for your continuing education programme at the ZHAW via the registration portal. The system will guide you through the registration and admission process step by step.
Preparing for your registration
Before starting the online registration process, have the following information and documents ready in electronic form:
- A passport-style portrait photo (JPG format) for the ZHAW CampusCard.
- Admission documents if required for your chosen continuing education programme.
- Your Swiss social security number (AHV number, starting with 756…) and Swiss matriculation number if required for your chosen continuing education programme. These are generally required for applications to MAS programmes.
Online registration
Please allow approximately 10 minutes to complete steps 1 to 3. The remaining steps will take place at a later stage.
- Login with a Switch edu-ID
To create a Switch edu-ID, you will need to provide your first name, your last name and your private e-mail address. Please do not use a business e-mail address, as the Switch edu-ID is created for lifelong use. After creating your Switch edu-ID, you will be redirected automatically to the registration portal. - Registration of your personal details
Enter the required personal details and save your entries. - Completion and submission of the application form
After successfully logging in with your Switch edu-ID, you will be taken directly to the application form for your chosen programme. Enter the required information and uploaded the necessary documents and requested files. - Review of registration details
After you have completed the registration process, your registration will be processed by the responsible office within the respective School. If any information or documents are missing or if documents are rejected (e.g. illegible), you will receive an e-mail notification. - Correction of information or documents
If corrections or adjustments are required on your part, you will be asked to log in using your Switch edu-ID. On the input page, you will receive precise information about which documents or information you need to upload or replace. - Admission review
Once all required information and documents have been submitted, your admission will be reviewed. You will be informed of the result via e-mail. - Invoices
As soon as the invoices for your continuing education programme have been generated, you will be informed via e-mail and asked to log in to the registration portal using your Switch edu-ID. You will be provided a link that directs you to the billing portal, where you will find the invoices in electronic form. - ZHAW account
Approximately one month before the start of your programme, you will receive your access details for your ZHAW account.
