Coffee Excellence Center now part of the Institute of Food and Beverage Innovation
The Coffee Excellence Center has changed institutes and has been part of the Food Chemistry Research Group at the Institute of Food and Beverage Innovation since the beginning of the year.
Since its foundation in 2008, the center has set itself the mission to explore and expand the frontiers in the science and technology of coffee along all disciplines.
Coffee Science and Education Summit
This also includes the exchange and transfer of knowledge, e.g. in the form of further training courses and conferences. The second Coffee Science and Education Summit on the topic of ‘Turning Research into Action for a Sustainable Coffee Future’ will take place on 5 and 6 February 2026. The event covers current topics ranging from plant science to sensory science and brings together representatives from all areas of the world of coffee.
