Lunchtime webinars provide food for thought

Through its Vitamin P webinar series, the Institute of Applied Psychology shares psychological insights and practical advice on work and everyday life with a broad audience.

How do you make good decisions? How does your job become interesting again? And how can you stop being so self-critical? These are the kind of questions explored in the new Vitamin P webinar series run by the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP). “The topics are practice-oriented and can easily be applied in everyday life,” says Christoph Negri, who heads up the IAP. The speakers present evidence-based psychological concepts and engage participants in brief self-reflection exercises while providing practical tips as well as reading recommendations. Afterwards, they answer questions and point participants towards additional resources such as podcasts, blogs and continuing education programmes at the IAP. The free webinars take place at lunchtime and last around 45 minutes. They are recorded and shared on YouTube afterwards.

Benefits for both participants and the institute

Negri reports that the response has been extremely positive, with Vitamin P reaching a broad audience. Over 2,600 people have participated in the online events so far. He adds that, for example, the webinars that focused on dealing with procrastination and ADHD attracted particularly strong interest. The psychologists at the IAP also appreciate the format because it allows them to share their expertise in a concise and accessible format. Negri confirms that the programme will continue, with a range of new topics already planned for 2026.
