Description
The pop-up exhibition Remember. Understand. Envision. Historical Pandemics in Societal Memory invites visitors to reflect on how experiences of past pandemics shape our collective memory and what insights can be gained from them for future crises.
Through video testimonies, witnesses and their descendants share their memories and experiences. Historical newspaper articles, photographs, and posters, together with current research findings, illustrate past pandemics and their impact on people’s everyday lives.
Interactive elements encourage visitors to contribute their own perspectives and share personal or family memories with the research team. The exhibition creates a space for dialogue between digital research, public history, and civic engagement.
This outreach project increases the visibility of DIZH-supported innovations by publicly showcasing the LEAD Knowledge Hub, a tangible digital product developed through a previous DIZH grant.
