Active Air Sampler for Air eDNA collection for Biodiversity Monitoring and Biosecurity (eDNA)
Capture of Bio-data from the air to reveal hidden Dynamics of life, from biodiversity patterns to pests and pathoden risks, transforming invisible biological signals into actionable intelligence.
Description
The air around us is filled with tiny fragments of DNA left behind by plants, fungi, animals, insects, and microbes, genetic data that, until now.
This project is aimed at developing a compact, low-cost system to capture this environmental DNA (eDNA) from the air. This system will then be used to facilitate Biodiversity Management, Plant protection, Environmental Impact Assessment and Biosecurity.
