Description
The AssisT project, commissioned by the City of Zurich, investigates how digital assistive technologies can enable older adults to live independently in their own homes for longer. With its Ageing Strategy 2035, the City of Zurich aims to make this possible.
Within the project, assistive technologies for older people are identified and technically assessed, and tested in a pilot study with representatives of the target group. A particular focus is placed on the role of the City of Zurich.
The goal is to develop recommendations on how assistive technologies can be embedded into a comprehensive municipal service offering.
