Better quality of life with Live4all: Intelligent wheelchair cushion to prevent pressure-related tissue damage (Rollstuhlsitzkissen)
Description
In this project, we are developing a new type of active seat cushion for wheelchair users to prevent pressure sores on the basis of a pilot product. This essentially includes the mechanical design, the HW and SW development and the choice of materials.
A wide variety of data analysis and simulation methods are also used.
Machine learning is used to process data in such a way that the evidence can be presented.
The new product is tested and validated in a prototype.
