Five new DFF projects for digital transformation

The “ZHAW digital” initiative supports research projects that address a wide range of topics and aspects of digital transformation. The projects in this funding round deal with issues such as privacy protection, digital participation and sustainable resource use.

As part of the “Digital Futures Fund for Research and Development” (DFF), the ZHAW's digitalisation initiative is once again funding projects that address different facets of digital transformation. Current projects range from AI-supported solutions for analysing building materials (Guido Brandi) and automated performance evaluation (Gerome Laurin Meyer) to new approaches to digital participation (Rahel Bühler) and privacy protection (Patrick Giedemann) to data-based simulations for future-oriented municipal planning and sustainable resource use (Alma Ramsden).

The DFF is aimed at all ZHAW employees who would like to develop, refine or further develop an idea for digital transformation in the field of research and development. The next call for proposals in this funding programme will take place in autumn 2025.
