CAI at SDS2025: AI and Data Science Take Center Stage

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) will once again have a strong presence at SDS2025, Switzerland’s leading data science conference.

The 12th IEEE Swiss Conference on Data Science (SDS2025), Switzerland’s premier event for applied data science is fast approaching taking place on June 27 at the Circle Convention Zurich Airport.  This year’s theme “Mastering the Edge: What is Next in Data Science & AI” invites participants to explore the cutting edge of the field from both academic and business perspectives.

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) is proud to contribute two papers to SDS2025, reflecting our strong focus on in AI research and application and our interdisciplinary collaborations with both the research community and industry partners. In addition, Thilo Stadelmann, Christoph Heitz, and Hella Bolck are members of the Scientific Co-Chair Committee, guiding the academic program and contributing to the organization of the event. Several other CAI researchers are also active in the Scientific Program Committee, helping to shape the content and quality of SDS2025.

The program features inspiring keynotes by Prof. Carmody Grey, who will speak on Shaping a Human Future in the Age of AI, and by Dr. Sven Körner, who will present Regression to the mean is mean…. And who knows—you might even catch Thilo Stadelmann playing bass guitar during the event!
