The Digitalization Initiative of the Zurich Universities (DIZH) supports cross-university innovation structures with funding of up to CHF 1.2 million.
With the 3rd Structure Call, we are promoting innovation structures that are effective in the long term. We support agile projects that overcome disciplinary and institutional boundaries, enable socially relevant solutions and sustainably strengthen cooperation between universities and practice partners. Funding of up to CHF 1.2 million per structure is possible. Members of DIZH universities are eligible to apply.
Application and deadlines
Project proposals can be submitted on the DIZH website until January 28, 2026, 12:00 noon.
The internal submission processes and deadlines are regulated differently at the individual universities. First of all, the responsible offices at the respective university should be contacted. For further, cross-university questions, a Q&A session will take place on October 23.
What is DIZH?
The Digitalization Initiative of the Zurich Higher Education Institutions (DIZH) aims to promote cooperation among the Zurich universities in the field of digitalization, thereby strengthening the greater Zurich areas a hub for research and business. The University of Zurich (UZH), Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), and Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH) are systematically networking within the DIZH to advance research and innovation in digitalization topics with interdisciplinary approaches.
