Due to the easing situation, the Federal Council has decided on further relaxations that directly affect the university. The university management has discussed these intensively and made the following decisions for the autumn semester 2021/2022:
"Back to Campus" in the autumn semester 2021/2022
For the autumn semester 2021/2022, the ZHAW is preparing to return to face-to-face teaching. The experience gained in recent semesters with distance learning will be put to good use to continue offering online teaching formats at the ZHAW in the future.
In general, the return to campus is subject to current federal and cantonal directives. Additional information is available on the intranet.

Access to the ZHAW premises and the general rules of conduct are regulated in the Covid-19 protection concept of the ZHAW. The key points are:
- Individuals with symptoms of illness are not allowed on the ZHAW premises.
- The general mask requirement applies in buildings that can be accessed without a CampusCard.
- In buildings that are only accessible with a CampusCard, masks are not compulsory, provided that the 1.5-metre distance rule can be observed.

The pandemic is not over yet. We would like to encourage you to participate in the vaccination campaign of the federal government and the cantons. Help to contain the pandemic and get vaccinated voluntarily.
