The project investigates how the physical matriculation number sticker currently used in the Swiss higher education system can be replaced by a digital solution suitable for use across different types of higher education institutions.

Existing processes, systems and historical data are analysed, and functional, technical, legal and organisational requirements are identified. Based on these findings, the project team develops and evaluates different architecture, integration and operating models.

The resulting high-level concept will include a recommended solution, a governance model, a migration strategy and a roadmap for a potential implementation project.
