HUVI.GUARDIAN: The first off-grid, edge-AI wildfire detection with network-independent communications
Description
Wildfires have become a rapidly escalating global threat, with major economic, ecological, and social consequences. Single events can cause multi-billion losses, and climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of fire outbreaks through higher temperatures, prolonged dry periods, and shifting vegetation patterns.
Because containment effectiveness drops sharply as time passes, fast and reliable early detection of smoke and ignition sources is critical to prevent small fires from escalating into large-scale disasters.
HUVI.GUARDIAN is an energy-autonomous early-warning tower for remote forests, using vision and edge AI to detect smoke locally and transmit event-driven alerts via LPWAN and satellite.
