ZHAW Commuting 2024 (MobZHAW2024)

Description

With the Green Impact Book, ZHAW defines its objectives regarding ecological sustainability in university operations. These include, among other things, the reduction of CO₂ emissions caused by mobility. (Everyday) mobility, and commuting in particular, represent especially relevant factors when it comes to achieving a paradigm shift in behavioral change towards greater sustainability.

ZHAW therefore aims to create framework conditions that contribute to improving the transport situation, encouraging a rethinking of and departure from established mobility patterns, and ultimately fostering more sustainable mobility overall. In this context, systematic mobility monitoring plays a central role.

The aim of this project is to capture and analyze commuting mobility at ZHAW for the year 2024 and to calculate the associated CO₂ emissions.
