Safe and Automated Logistics Vehicles for all-weather hilly outdoor Environments (SALVE)

Description

The SALVE project addresses a key challenge in intralogistics: enabling forklifts and related vehicles to operate autonomously in outdoor environments where current systems fall short. Most existing solutions are limited to indoor warehouses, flat floors, and standard pallets. Logistics operations, however, demand automation that works in yards, on ramps, and under challenging outdoor conditions such as rain, snow, fog, and glare.
