In collaboration with Collano AG and Biosimo AG, ZHAW is developing new synthetic routes for green monomers tailored for adhesive applications. These monomers are based on bio-derived building blocks and inspired by natural structural motifs. Although produced via classical synthetic methods, they do not rely on resources such as palm oil. The development process integrates cutting-edge techniques in chemical synthesis, supported by quantum chemical modeling, artificial intelligence, and experimental approaches.
