Cloud-Enabled Learning Controllers for HVAC Application (AIHVAC)

This research project is focused on development of an artificial intelligence-based method for optimizing the control functionality of Belimo's HVAC field devices in order to significantly reduce the energy consumption in buildings.

Description

Buildings contribute significantly to global energy consumption and emissions. Improving building energy efficiency, especially HVAC systems, is critical for cost reduction, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance. While AI offers powerful solutions for optimizing HVAC, current applications typically focus on building-level control, overlooking the potential of optimizing individual HVAC field devices. This project is focused on development of an artificial intelligence-based method for optimizing the control functionality of Belimo's HVAC field Devices in order to significantly reduce the energy consumption in buildings.
