GPC – Green Palm Circuits – Practical training for staff involved in pilot project

How can residues from palm oil production be converted into renewable energy? As part of a REPIC pilot project in Ghana, local professionals are being trained through hands-on workshops in the anaerobic digestion of palm oil mill effluent (POME), helping to build technical capacity for sustainable energy production from industrial waste streams.

Our contribution to the REPIC project ‘Green Palm Circuits’ involves providing practical training for staff on the efficient operation of UP Development’s biogas plant using POME.

In the BASIC, ADVANCED and TRAIN THE TRAINER modules, we impart knowledge on commissioning, routine operation, fault management, safety, data analysis and optimisation.

Through knowledge transfer with local partners, we ensure the sustainable use and scaling of the technology.
