Real world study of prostate cancer burden, care, and cost in Switzerland
Description
Prostate cancer (PC) is the most common cancer in men in Switzerland. To date there are only limited data and systematic analyses on the epidemiology, disease trajectory, clinical management, and cost of care for PC in Switzerland.
In light of its high prevalence, disease burden and societal impact there is a need for comprehensive understanding of the care currently provided and the cost implications for the health care system.
The aim of this study is to describe the treatment, costs and disease burden of PC in Switzerland.
