EcoLink: Cross-border Linking of Sustainability Data

Description

The EcoLink project addresses the urgent challenge of standardization and interoperability of ESG data (Environment, Social, Governance) in the ABH region, which will affect a large number of companies for the first time in 2024 due to regulatory requirements in the EU, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Companies face the difficulty of meeting ESG reporting requirements, particularly in a cross-border context where different legal frameworks and standards apply. This challenge is further compounded by the need to effectively utilize ESG data for internal decision-making processes and risk management.
