Next-Generation Medical Diagnostics (Embedding Solid State Nanopores into microfluidic architectures)
Description
With this research project, the Institute of Mechatronic Systems (IMS) is pursuing the goal of developing an innovative medical sensor for the early detection of diseases. The focus is on the use of so-called solid-state nanopores - artificially produced nanostructures that enable the precise analysis of individual biomolecules such as DNA, RNA or proteins.
