Casa Circolo – Direct recycling of greywater using the example of the KREIS-Haus
Description
The feasibility study "Casa Circolo" investigates the technical aspects of implementing a self-sufficient water cycle system with greywater treatment and direct water recycling, using the KREIS-Haus in Feldbach, Switzerland, as a case study. The main topics include water quality (chemical-physical parameters, genotoxicity), energy demand, water balance, and the transfer of water and nutrient flows for fertilization and irrigation (fertigation) in the context of the "Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus."
