ZHAW CAI Brings Swiss Physical AI to VivaTech in Paris
The ZHAW Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI), together with Binabik AI, joined the Swiss delegation at VivaTech in Paris, one of Europe’s largest technology fairs. The week kicked off with an evening event at the Embassy of Switzerland.
The ZHAW Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) travelled to Paris for VivaTech , one of Europe’s largest technology fairs, as part of the Swiss delegation organised by Swisstech. Alongside Binabik AI, the CAI joined the “Swiss Robot Squad” with partners including CSEM, Tethys Robotics, Helbling Technik, AICA SA, Embodied AI, and FireDrone.
The week began with a kick-off event at the Embassy of Switzerland in Paris, before the team moved to the Swiss Pavilion for a full programme of live robot demonstrations. At the booth, visitors could meet a wheeled humanoid and a quadruped, among other systems, and discuss how wheeled humanoids can become a cost-effective solution for high-mix, low-volume automation. The CAI’s presence was supported by the Greater Zurich Area and Innosuisse, and the team was represented by Dr. Jorge Peña Queralta, Head of the Embodied Mobile Agents research group, among others. It was another opportunity to showcase Swiss Physical AI on the international stage, in the spirit of the upcoming Davos Tech Summit
