The economic importance of Arab countries for Swiss companies is continually increasing. The countries of the Arab League generate a gross national product of around CHF 3 trillion. If they were a single country, it would be the fifth largest economy in the world - bigger than India. Many managers still struggle with the peculiarities of the Arab world and how to successfully conduct business there. Together with the Bern University of Applied Sciences, we are conducting an exciting research project to reveal the success factors for Swiss companies doing business in Arab countries.
