The ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) has made the FT Masters in Management Ranking for the seventh consecutive year. This lists the one hundred best Master’s programs in management worldwide. The ZHAW Master’s in International Business is now in the Top 50.
This year, the SML’s MSc in International Business ranks 44th in the international FT Masters in Management Ranking – a rise of 14 places. In a Switzerland-wide comparison, the SML ranks second. All in all, three Swiss universities made it into the ranking – the ZHAW School of Management and Law, the University of St. Gallen, and the University of Lausanne.

“Among the top 50 worldwide…this success is down to the efforts of many people – our brilliant lecturers, who are constantly reimagining their courses, and a dedicated program management team that provides personalized support to our students. But it was our alumni who made the difference. What pleases me most is that the MSc in International Business provides a lasting boost to their careers – and for that, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.”
Prof. Petra Barthelmess, Head of the MSc in International Business
The ranking is based on an annual survey of business schools and their graduates. For alumni, it takes into account criteria such as salaries, career development, and employability. As a business school, factors such as an international focus and course content relevant to society and sustainability are taken into consideration.

“It fills me with pride to see our MSc in International Business ranked among the top 50 in the prestigious Financial Times ranking. This is a tremendous international recognition of our management training program, as well as a special honor for my colleagues.”
Prof. Reto Steiner, Dean of the ZHAW School of Management and Law
