Challenges and open questions

Although the promises are great and the possibilities are diverse, there are some technical hurdles to overcome in the development of chatbots, such as data protection, privacy, copyright, energy consumption, costs, and the short lifespan of software and tools.

Particularly relevant for education are open questions such as: How can chatbots be meaningfully integrated into teaching? What is their didactic value?
