RF Harvesting and RFID Emulation
The following embedded systems are powered solely by harvesting energy from RF fields. In the RFID tag emulation, the microcontroller behaves as a passive tag. It sends out measurement values in form of RFID parameters. This tag can be used in RFID Sensor Networks that take advantage of the already installed RFID infrastructure.
In the second case, the RF energy is used to power a Bluetooth Smart system. Measurements are transmitter using ADV frames and a power of 0 dBm.
