Measurements and modelling for scaling of the HyFlexGT multi-tube-burner
SBES's HyFlexGT burner can quickly adapt to various gas turbine models for hydrogen combustion. A versatile thermoacoustic model is needed to predict the behavior of the different burner versions, enabling efficient scaling.
Description
The thermoacoustic model developed by ZHAW will enable the Sustainable Business & Engineering Solutions GmbH (SBES) to predict how the HyFlexGT burner will behave with different numbers of mixing tubes. This allows knowledge gained from small-scale experiments to be transferred to large-scale, real-world engines. This is essential for developing scaled versions of the burner that meet the power requirements of various turbines. Additionally, ZHAW will conduct atmospheric tests on the burner.
