CAS Leading Change in International Business: New Program for Global Collaboration

With the CAS Leading Change in International Business, the ZHAW School of Management and Law expands its continuing education portfolio with a program designed to prepare professionals and managers for the challenges of international collaboration and transformation.

Today, international competitiveness increasingly depends on successful collaboration across cultural and organizational boundaries. The new CAS Leading Change in International Business addresses this shift by providing practical strategies for entering new markets and managing cross-border partnerships effectively.

The program combines solid theoretical foundations with hands-on application: participants gain direct experience in real international collaboration projects in cooperation with global partners—particularly through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) formats. This is complemented by the use of digital and AI-supported tools, as well as exchanges with experts from internationally active companies.

The CAS focuses on two key areas: building and managing international partnerships—such as alliances, joint ventures, and global value networks—and leading cross-organizational change and integration processes in complex, multicultural environments.

The program is aimed at professionals and managers with international responsibilities, for example in project management, business development, operations, or supply chain management.

The program starts on October 1, 2026, runs for three months, and includes 13 days of instruction in Winterthur and online. It awards 12 ECTS credits.
