Dr. M. Ramirez-Gonzalez received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada, in 2008. From 1998 to 2020, he was working for the Mexican Institute for Electricity and Clean Energy. He currently holds a Research Associate position at the Institute of Energy Systems and Fluid Engineering (Research Group of Electric Power Systems and Smart Grids) of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, Switzerland.
