AI-based supervision System for Ropeway Systems

Description

This project supports the automation of chairlifts. Cameras and other sensors monitor the chairlift stations and slow down or stop the system when necessary.

Similar to autonomous cars, the project is undergoing development stages with increasing automation: from parallel operation with control by operating personnel to partial, high, and full automation, and finally to autonomous operation. The aim is to make the operation of chairlifts more efficient, safer, and more economical, while at the same time providing guests with smooth and comfortable transport.
